A specialist telephone advice service for Merchant Seafarers, Fishermen and their immediate families.


Seafarers' Advice & Information Line is a UK based advice service operated by the Greenwich Citizens Advice Bureaux Ltd (GCAB) and funded by the Seamen's Hospital Society.

We provide free, independent, impartial and confidential advice by telephone, email, post or fax.

Our service is available to Merchant seafarers, fishermen and their immediate families.

Our Advice Line operates Monday to Friday from 10.00am to 4.00pm.

Outside of these hours or if we are already advising someone else, you will hear a recorded message inviting you to leave your contact details. All messages are returned.
